The 4HF poti uses a measuring resistor to measure the current current while the motor is running. If the current is higher than the maximum current set on the potentiometer, the software switches off the motor and indicates this with a red LED as a check.
This protects the mechanics, motor and electronics in the event of overload or blocking operation. The motor can only start again after the transmitter stops the motor or steers it in the other direction.
