For example, there is a mode to operate a servo like a hydraulic cylinder: when you release the stick, it remains in its current position. This can also be expanded to a windshield wiper using an interval switch. The rotation speed of servos (also in normal operation) can be adjusted to achieve particularly realistic movements. Freely programmable mixers can be used to implement special functions such as the correct steering of tracked vehicles, limit switches for drives, delayed response or any path curves. The optionally integrated programmable controller (PLC) in the receiver also allows the individual implementation of processes that would otherwise only be possible with complex additional modules. The control center for the light bus system is permanently integrated in all Scaleart receivers. This allows for customizations such as programmable flashing rate and automatic indicator reset after turning, adjustable response thresholds for curve and cornering lights or dependencies between vehicle lighting and operating status. The CM-5000 offers the complete equipment: connections for 16 servos, two temperature or pressure sensors and the bus lighting system. An integrated position sensor determines incline or decline as well as lateral inclination. To operate hydraulic pumps or auxiliary drives, there is a regulator that can handle 4 amps. In addition, the receiver can monitor the power supply of the entire model: an integrated sensor measures the current drawn from the battery and determines the capacity consumed. There is also an infrared output, which enables convenient operation with trailers or semi-trailers that have a lighting system from Scaleart or Robbe. The CM-5000 measures 63x41mm, the remotely mounted antenna measures 40x17mm. If more connections are required, up to 8 of these receivers can be operated on a common antenna in the model.
