The TAMIYA truck for tough construction site use! The Mercedes-Benz Arocs 4151 8x4 is a real heavyweight on the construction site. TAMIYA has modified the proven chassis for this truck: Like the original, the truck has 4 axles. The two rear axles are driven by a powerful 540 electric motor. The two front axles are steered via a servo (sold separately). The steering angle of the two axles is different, resulting in authentic driving characteristics. The frame has a subframe to accommodate the newly designed tipper body. The tipper body has been reinforced with a metal subframe and can be controlled via the optional TAMIYA ACU-01 unit (item 10832). The distinctive design of the new Arocs is as exceptional as the truck itself. The look, specifically developed for construction vehicles, features a radiator grille with a so-called "excavator tooth" design, conveying the message: bite through and get to work. To match the robust appearance, special protective grilles for the lights are fitted to the bumper. Technical specifications: The 667 mm long and approximately 4 kg heavy kit allows for the assembly of impressive truck and trailer combinations. Beneath the forward-tilting cab is the proven and robust TAMIYA truck technology. A new Mighty-Tuned 35T electric motor transmits its power to the two rear axles via a switchable 3-speed gearbox. A detailed aluminum ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability and flexibility. A tow hitch (item 7876) can be attached to the rear of the frame for pulling trailers. With the optional multifunction unit, almost all sound and light functions of the real thing can be realistically simulated. Required accessories: Minimum 4-channel remote control, steering servo, shift servo, 7,2V battery, speed controller.
