Trim, subtrim, channel offset, curve adjustment and linear mixer are mandatory on the PL18 EV. Tracked vehicles can be configured using the track mixer, and logic switches can be used to create logic connections. Simple example: Switch 1 on + Switch 2 on = Channel 3 on. In practice, this means, for example: crane folded up, hook attached? Upper carriage can no longer rotate! Supports above? Nobody is craned here yet!Having only one model is not a possibility for us model building enthusiasts! And anyone who has an excavator and a dump truck would prefer to first load the material into the dump truck and then drive it away, dump it and then load it again. With the PL18 EV you can do this easily via the model combination. Change the model live using a 2-position switch, and the programmed failsafe (in the transmitter, mind you, using a touch display, without the need for a bent paper clip) puts the passive model into standby, and the truck can be controlled using the transmitter configuration assigned to it. Back at the excavator you then control it again with the usual Euro assignment. 20 models can be saved with their own configuration. You will see your model collection with new eyes! With the 2 included receivers (1x 12-channel, 1x 8-channel) you get started with two options - either remote control 2 models or one model with up to 18 channels - for this the receivers are coupled and create an 18-channel receiver. The large receiver serves the small one via i-Bus as a PWM converter, i.e. channel extension. Communication is via the new bidirectional AFHDS3 radio system in 2.4GHz. Bidirectional means: data transmission in both directions, simultaneously via a single antenna and connection.
