Already nodded today? - Scalige movement for RC trucks

Under the name "Truck Cab Suspension", FURY BEAR has a small package with a series of very precisely machined and partly painted metal parts and screws. The building instructions can be downloaded from Fechtner-Modellbau and there is an installation video on YouTube for the Volvo FH16 from Tamiya.

Unpacking alone is fun. The parts are packed in sachets, which are numbered according to the construction steps. The mechanics are assembled in a few minutes and prepared for installation. The high manufacturing quality is striking. The threads are cut clean, fit and nothing is missing.

Installation in the model will be exciting. The base plate and the "wobble mechanism" are quickly assembled. With my model, the cabin fit neatly when I first touched down, but the bumper protruded a little too far. In the first tests, the cabin "wobbled" and the bumper touched. A little rework and this topic was already done.
For model builders, at least with the Volvo FH 16, there is still another task open. A replacement must be built to connect the air intake and the plateau for the two seats. With a piece of PS, an extension for the air intake is quickly created. A spacer can also be used to quickly find a solution for the seats.

When everything is assembled, you can finally test. For the power supply, the enclosed patch cable is also plugged into the receiver. Finished. The system works without dependencies. The model can be started and the "wobble mechanics" already works. The idea of using a gyroscope without the steering and gas duct signals is as simple as it is brilliant. Thanks to the manufacturer!

The movement looks very realistic, yes scalable and is a lot of fun watching.

In the instructions, the manufacturer points out that further servos for additional movements can be connected on your own. Perhaps there will be a supplementary set at some point that, for example, pulls the springs of the front axle when braking. I would like the idea!
