For safely and easily switching on the power supply of a model truck

To switch the truck on or off, a suitable switch is sufficient (observe the total current consumption of your truck). The current that the speed controller receives flows through this switch. So it must be used a switch that can also switch this power. In addition, you should install a charging socket and a fuse.

They have an easier time with these switchboards. Of course, these boards have some special features:
1. Reverse polarity protection
Now you can (finally) connect his battery wrong! Swapping the + and - connections has no consequences. The electrical system and the cruise control are simply not turned on. Only after the correct + and - connection does it work again.

2. relay
The entire power supply is switched on via a relay. (Resilient with 8A)

3. counter
On the boards there is a screw terminal for an externally mounted switch. This switch can be a miniature version. It only has to switch the control current for the relay (about 100 mA). We have a suitable switch available.

4. AC adapter jack
The charging socket can be our BU.02 or its own version.
Furthermore, the boards contain a fuse for the electrical system.
All connections are made via screw terminals.
