In keeping with the wood transporter newly developed by TAMIYA, Leimbach-Modellbau has adapted the short timber loading crane "PENZ" to this.
The kit contains a specially made mounting plate for the crane and the support, which can be used to easily attach them to the truck using clamps (without drilling).

For attachment of the hydraulic pump and the control valve laterally vehicle frame may need to be removed attachments and holes drilled.

Also specially made for this model were the jacking cylinders, which due to the frame height need more stroke length to support themselves on the ground can.

What's in the box
All sheet metal parts, screws, support, wood gripper, hydr. Swivel drive f. Gripper, double swivel cylinder, all required hydraulic components (without servos).

The delivery takes place as a kit unpainted.

Crane swivel range: approx 360 degree

Pivoting range gripper: 270 degree

The support can be extended laterally 100mm.

The telescope can also be extended 100 mm.

Lifting capacity depending on pump pressure: about 400 grams

Vehicles, optional accessories, paintwork, cargo, etc. are NOT included in the scope of delivery, they are only for illustration purposes.


8 additional servos (item 1708) are required to control all functions.

Accordingly, a remote control with at least 8 functions is recommended in crane mode (not included).
