With the Volvo FH 16 6x4 Globetrotter, Tamiya managed a surprise at the toy fair 2019. It was often rumored whether Tamiya would bring a current Volvo onto the market after the FH 12. Lo and behold, here is the first timber truck from Tamiya.

Another innovation is that for the first time Tamiya dispenses with a tiltable cab and instead relies on an upwardly removable cab.
With 751 PS (552 kW), the prototype is a real powerhouse and ideal for use in the forests of Northern Europe.

The model dispenses with a playful design and impresses with clear lines and striking design elements such as the mighty front.
The model can be found in the original with up to 5 axles, which can be perfectly implemented in the model through the use of various tuning components.

Thanks to the wooden structure, which is currently rarely found on the course worldwide, the Volvo has an impressive length of approx. 750mm and is one of the largest Tamiya truck models.
